This project treats the entire experience—from the food to the service—as a gift from the restaurant, and brings that idea into the menu. Created for a Michelin-starred restaurant in London's Soho, the menu is designed to build anticipation from the moment it is opened, so a special evening begins before the first dish arrives.

MENU DESIGN

The menu takes the form of a gift box. The ribbon motif is inspired by a curling strip of apple peel. It highlights the beauty of the materials and reflects the restaurant's commitment to authenticity and refined elegance.

The envelope-style menu turns opening a gift into part of the experience. Its opening gesture echoes moving aside an apple's peel to reveal the fruit within.

The menu is designed as a photo holder for the instant picture guests receive as a keepsake. It lets them take home a memory of the day along with the menu.
